TARMIN™ is a disposable add-on filter for adult smokers who want an extra filter in front of the filter built into their cigarette. The Problem with Built-In Cigarette Filters
Almost every cigarette sold today already has a filter, usually made of cellulose acetate. That filter does not make smoking safe: health authorities are clear that filter cigarettes — including “light” and slim cigarettes — still cause serious harm.
Many cigarettes also have tiny ventilation holes in the filter paper. They mix air into the smoke and lower the tar values measured by smoking machines, but smokers often cover them with their fingers or lips, and they do not make a cigarette safer. TARMIN™ does not change the cigarette itself; it is an additional filter that fits onto the cigarette's own filter tip.
The TARMIN™ 2-Stage Design
TARMIN™ filters are disposable plastic filter tips with a dual-chamber design and two stages:
Stage 1: The First Chamber
The first chamber is designed to trap larger tar particles. This is the residue you see when the used filter turns brown.
Stage 2: The Finer Filter Layer
Behind the first chamber sits a finer filter layer, designed to catch residue that passes Stage 1.

Who Is TARMIN™ For?
TARMIN™ is meant for adult smokers who have decided to keep smoking for now and want an add-on filter. It is particularly suited to:
